ALCORN STATE ANNOUNCES TICKET PRICES FOR 2010 FOOTBALL SEASON
After finishing the 2009 season with a 3-6 record, The Braves of Alcorn State will kick off another season of “Are you Brave Enough” as they step out of conference and take on the Lions of Langston University on September 4, at the “Jack Spinks Stadium”. Langston finished its 2009 season 8-4. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00PM.
The Braves will have a bye the following weekend and will travel to Chicago, IL on September 18th to face the Delta Devils of Mississippi Valley State University at Soldier Field. The Delta Devils are predicted to finish 5th in the Eastern Division. Game time is 4:00PM.
On September 25th, the Braves host the Hornets of Alabama State. The Hornets defeated the Braves in the 2009 season and the Braves are looking for restitution.
The Braves step out of conference again as they travel to Starkville, MS with the first ever matchup against the Bulldogs of Mississippi State on October 2nd.
“And it’s Homecoming” on October 9th and the Braves will be hype when Texas Southern steps out on the field. Kickoff is at 2:00PM.
Grambling State University is back on the Braves schedule for the 2010 season. The Braves travel to Grambling on October 16, 2010. Kick-off is scheduled for 2:00PM.
The Braves have back-to-back home games on October 21st and October 30th. Last year, the Braves and Lions game was rained out. This Thursday night game will be televised on ESPNU. The time has yet to be determined. On the 30th, the Jaguar nation will attempt to take over the reservation once again but the fans will be ready as the Braves take on the Southern Jaguars. Kickoff is 2:00PM.
The next two weekends, the Braves will be on the road as they travel to Huntsville, AL on November 6th and face the Bulldogs of Alabama A&M. Kickoff is 1:00PM. On November 13th, the Brave will then travel to Prairie View, TX and take on the Panthers. Scheduled kickoff is 2:00PM.
November 20th, will be the classic of all classics when the Braves handle up on the Blue Bengal Tigers of Jackson State University. The Brave defeated the Tigers in the 2009 season and is looking forward to reclaiming the Capital City Classic title once again.
Reservations for season tickets are available online at www.alcorn.edu. Go to the events tab. Current season ticket holders will have their seats reserved for renewal until August 20, 2010. Single-game tickets go on sale to the general public two weeks before the home opener.

General Admission $100.00; Reserve Section $125.00; Purple Section $175.00
Parking (There will be a $5.00 parking fee for all vehicles entering the campus, except students with a valid ID and parking decal):
Tailgate Parking $75.00; VIP Parking $150.00; Bus / RV Parking $165.00
Game Day Ticket Prices:
